VERSOLON

PPG is a global manufacturer of paints, coatings, and specialty materials. Their vision is “to be the world’s leading coatings company by consistently delivering high-quality, innovative and sustainable solutions that customers trust to protect and beautify their products and surroundings.”  

They needed one umbrella-brand name that could enroll liquid coatings, powder coatings, and solvents & allied products all underneath. It needed to be diverse, descriptive, and overarching of a variety of solutions. Brandsymbol delivered Versolon. Versolon is derived from “Versatile Solutions” and “vera,” the Latin word for truth. The name reflects the reliability and trustworthiness PPG’s products have built and implies an honesty, flexibility, and exactness. PPG Versolon launched in September 2022.
