The Situation

EISIA INC. is a global pharmaceutical company committed to creating hope through innovations that improve the lives of the patients and families. Eisia engaged Brandsymbol to develop a comprehensive graphical user interface design and collateral materials that would strategically position and differentiate Aciphex® Sprinkle™, a revolutionary product for pediatric patients with GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease ) that can be administered quickly and easily with “just a sprinkling” in a favorite drink or apple sauce snack. This brand creation and collateral needed to position AcipHex® Sprinkle™ (Rabeprazole Sodium) as an ally to patients and HCPs through clear and effective communication of the functional benefits behind an easy dosing solution as well as emphasize the accessibility and approachability of the solution through friendly and engaging brand elements.

The Solution

Brandsymbol engaged with the senior vice president of marketing and core marketing and medical affairs team members to collaboratively drive towards a launch date. Utilizing the proprietary i4 Methodology, Brandsymbol led a successful brand and launchbox creation which included positioning, messaging, customer research, content creation, design, and microsite and sales visual aids. The design behind each component was strategically driven by the process to specifically leverage the core concepts and attributes behind AcipHex® Sprinkle™ and deliver a seamless message for this revolutionary product.

The Success

Brandsymbol delivered a world-class interface design, and collateral that successfully differentiated AcipHex® Sprinkle™ within the competitive landscape and conveyed key concepts and attributes behind the brand. The verbal positioning, color palette, typography, and unique graphic elements were selectively chosen and driven with the intent to convey the emotional benefits of a product that makes a once difficult and frustrating task of successfully administering a GERD treatment to pediatric patients easy and simple, promoting trust and joy for pediatric patients suffering from GERD as well as their caregivers – so they can get time back to enjoy their lives in health and comfort. Website visuals, sales aids, and marketing collateral were successfully implemented and utilized across all corporate channels to provide seamless integration and thus consistent and compelling communication of this brand to Eisai target audiences.
