The Situation

Watson Bowman Acme–a BASF company came to Brandsymbol feeling help with their visual branding. As a newly acquired company of industrial giant, BASF, they needed help bringing all of their advertising, collateral, trade shows, signage, packaging and business systems into compliance with BASF’s brand guidelines.

The Solution

Brandsymbol began with some subtle improvements to their brand identity designed to fit with BASF’s standards while not disowning WBA’s long-standing business customers.

We developed a set of brand guidelines to govern the creation of their marketing materials and then created new art in the updated BASF brand style for over 100 pieces of collateral, packaging and trade show banners.

The Success

The resulting work allowed Watson Bowman Acme to quickly integrate into BASF’s business while still keeping the positive business equity they had earned over the past 65 years.
