Looking Back and Moving Forward: Brandsymbol

With Brandsymbol’s 10-year anniversary coming up in 2020 we wanted to take a moment to reflect on all the great experiences we’ve had with our amazing clients. We wanted to showcase some of the branding initiatives we’ve been privileged to work on over the past decade as well as a list of all the approved proprietary and non-proprietary names in which have gone public this year. We look forward to another 10 years and all the opportunities that come with it.

Starting with Brandsymbol’s most influential names in the market space although there are many, we decided to pick just a few examples…

  • Roche – NAVIFY: a fully integrated portfolio of scalable, secure workflow solutions and apps designed to support care teams with analytics and actionable insights that can personalize healthcare.
  • Janssen – SPRAVATO: a nasal spray which is the first new major drug approved for depression in ten years.
  • AbbVie – ORILISSA: a prescription medicine used to treat moderate to severe pain associated with endometriosis.
  • Sanofi – ADMELOG: the first short-acting insulin approved as a “follow-on” product, it is indicated to improve control in blood sugar levels in adults and pediatric patients aged 3 years and older with type 1 diabetes mellitus and adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
  • Nikon – ACULON: zoom binoculars that are built with multi-purpose functionality and a lightweight, ergonomic design. Also, Nikon’s first truly global brand with the same name all around the world!           
  • HP – ElitePOS: a versatile point of sale system that elevates the customer experience and supports critical business operations.

Though all of these are phenomenal names our most recent work in 2019 is where we really take pride. Working with repeat clients as well as new clients in the years to come is what drives Brandsymbol to keep creating unique and intriguing brand names.

Examples of our recent 2019 approvals:

  • Ethicon – VISTASEAL: next-generation airless spray devices that combine biologics with device technology to address mild to moderate surgical bleeding.
  • Abbott – PROCLAIM XR: Low dose, recharge-free spinal cord stimulation system with up to ten-year battery life for people living with chronic pain.
  • AMAG – VYLEESI: an injectable to treat acquired, generalized hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) in premenopausal women.
  • Janssen – SPRAVATO: a nasal spray which is the first new major drug approved for depression in ten years.
  • Rheem – GLADIATOR: a new electric water heater with many built-in smart features to help prevent cold showers, alert of issues before there’s no hot water and protect the home from potential water damage.
  • Tricida – VEVERIMER: a novel, non-absorbed polymer that is designed to treat metabolic acidosis by binding hydrochloric acid in the gastrointestinal tract and removing it from the body through excretion in the feces. 
  • Abbott – MITRACLIP G4: the most advanced MitraClip heart valve repair device to treat mitral regurgitation.
